My current work explores the emergence and disappearance of bodily forms through layering, reworking, and reduction. I primarily work with soft pastel on painted raw canvas or paper.
The figures remain recognizable, yet resist a fixed identity, existing in a state between dissolution and condensation.
At the core of my practice is the human body as an open and mutable material. Through repetition, displacement, and superimposition, forms shift continuously: they emerge, recede, and establish new spatial relationships.
An ongoing dialogue between painting and moving image shapes my practice. While video slows movement to the threshold of stillness, painting seeks to make time visible through layering, revision, and correction.
The fragility of pastel reinforces the processual nature of the work, preserving the traces of its own becoming.

Some of my drawings
